Research Interests

I am a Southern Oregon native who has lived in Missoula for seven years. I have worked at the Rocky Mountain Research Station in the Wildlife Genetics Unit for a year. My interests include mammalian behavior, tropical trophic interactions, and wildlife conservation. I have an enormous passion for wildlife and strive to learn all there is to know about them.

Hobbies

My hobbies (when not studying) include folfing, snowshoeing, backpacking, wildlife photography and hanging out with my in-house zoo (3 busy dogs, and 24 exotic reptiles/amphibians).

Future

My goals for the future include a variety of jobs. I would like to spend some time working in a zoo, increasing my knowledge of animals in any way possible, by having the opportunity working with a number of different species, and I would also like to aid in the spread of knowledge about animals by teaching in a zoo setting. Eventually, I would like to obtain a M.S. or Ph. D in Wildlife Biology, specializing in large mammalian carnivores.
